صَلاَةً دَائِمَةً بَاقِيَةً

 

O Allah, send Your eternal, everlasting, and timeless blessings upon our master Muhammad.

Blessings that You bestowed in the presence of Your eternal knowledge, which You revealed to Your angels in the presence of Your words in the great Qur’an, and which You expressed through the merciful tongue of Muhammad ﷺ.

Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, and You addressed us with this command along with peace, as a perfection of Your honor and favor upon us.

So You said:

“O you who have believed, send blessings upon him and greet him with peace.”

We said it in obedience to Your command, and out of desire for the reward that is with You:

O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions altogether—blessings that are everlasting, enduring, and continuous until the Day of Judgment.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلاَتَكَ الْقَدِيمَةَ الأَزَلِيَّةَ. الدَّائِمَةَ الْبَاقِيَةَ الأَبَدِيَّةِ. الَّتِي صَلَّيْتَهَا فِي حَضْرَةِ عِلْمِكَ الْقَدِيمِ. الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَهُ بِمَلاَئِكَتِكَ فِي حَضْرَةِ كَلاَمِكَ الْقُرْآنِ الْعَظِيمِ. فَقُلْتَ بِاللِّسَانِ الْمُحَمَّدِيِّ الرَّحِيمِ. إِنَّ الله وَمَلاَئِكَتُهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَخَاطَبْتَنَا بِهَا مَعَ السَّلاَمِ. تَتْمِيماً لِلإِكْرَامِ مِنْكَ لَنَا وَالإِنْعَامِ. فَقُلْتَ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيماً. فَقُلْنا امْتِثَالاً لأَِمْرِكَ. وَرَغْبَةً فِيمَا عِنْدَكَ مِنْ أَجْرِكَ : اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ. صَلاَةً دَائِمَةً بَاقِيَةً إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ.
