بين الطاعة والمعاصي

 

O You who have made, in our humility and submission before You, an elevation and an honor that rises above the universe—
so that by the majesty of beholding You, You veiled us from the humiliation of beholding anything other than You.

O You who have made our sins into steps that lead to good deeds
that the limbs of obedience could never attain—
until the good deed born of sin shone forth by the generosity of the Most Generous,
surpassing the good deed of obedience that lacks the richness of true offering.
And how could it not take pride,
when it was received from the Most Noble of attributes,
untainted by created beings,
unknown even to the angels of the heavens?
So Allah exalted its rank by preserving it within His hidden knowledge.
Then, when the appointed Day comes,
those who were veiled will be astonished by people they thought far removed from the path of Allah—
only to find them brought near and honored by their Lord.

O You who have made my flaws into doors that lead to the perfection of Your attributes,
so as to carry me to the beauty of Your gifts—
until Your closeness makes me forget my deficiency,
Your description makes me absent from my own description,
and my flaws and poverty only increase me in nearness to You
and in the sustaining rope of Your aid.
Thus I came to understand, through the intensity of my poverty and imperfection,
the abundance of Your care for me—
when I saw the ropes of connection had delivered me to the treasuries of Your bounty.
So I became certain of Your saying:
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease”—
meaning a rope extended by which what is with You reaches me.

يا من جعلت في ذلنا وخضوعنا بين يديك رفعة وعزة تسموا على الكون حتى حجبْتَنَا بعز رؤياك عن ذل رؤية سواك

يا من جعلت من ذنوبنا درجات توصل الى حسنات لم تنلها جوارح الطاعات حتى زهت حسنة المعاصي بجود الجوّاد على حسنة الطاعة المفتقرة لجودة البضاعة وكيف لا تفتخر وقد استلمتها من كريم الصفات ولم تخالجها الكآئنات ولم تعلم بها ملائكة السموات فأعلى الله قدرها بحفظها في علمه المكنون فإذا كان اليوم المعلوم تفاجأ المحجوبون بمن ظنوهم عن طريق الله مبعدون فإذا هم مقربون ومن ربهم مكرمون

يا من جعلت عيوبي أبوبا تتصل بكمال صفاتك لتوصلني إلى جميل عطآئك حتى ينسيني وصلك نقصي ويغيبني وصفك عن وصفي ويزيد عيبي وفقري من قربك وحبل مددك حتى فهمت من شدة فقري وعيبي كثرة عنايتك بي لما رأيت حبال الوصل قد أوصلتني الى خزآئن فضلك فتيقنت قولك ان مع العسر يسرا اي حبلا ممدودا يصلني به ما عندك
