الحب الفياض

 

A speaker once spoke to me and asked:

"What is this overflowing love with which you love your religion, your Prophet, and your Qur’an? This love we have not seen in the followers of many other religions on earth. What is this overflowing love when we see tears in your eyes at the mention of Muhammad ibn Abdullah ﷺ? Is this magic? What did that man do to you that all the schemes over the centuries to destroy you, or to make you leave your religion in droves, failed? What is this strange state? We offered you all pleasures and temptations, we offered you wealth, status, the power of knowledge, and logical reasoning as it appears—but you would not budge from your faith, not even under force of arms, not even by mass annihilation, not even by occupation of your lands, nor if we showed you injustice or even justice, nor if we called occupation colonialism. I want to understand, because this is a remarkable and unique phenomenon—why do you love Islam and the Prophet of Islam in this way?"

I told him:

*"The more you mock the Prophet of Islam ﷺ, the more our love for him increases, because you lie, and he ﷺ was called Al-Sadiq Al-Amin (the Truthful and Trustworthy). We were left on the clear path, whose nights are like its days, from which none strays except the lost.

Among what he left us: that truthfulness is salvation, even if it may lead to your destruction, and that we should speak the truth even against ourselves.

Among what he left us: {And let not the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness.}

Among what he left us: that we must not wrong anyone of His creation, even if they are not of us.

Among what he left us: 'The merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful; be merciful to those on earth, and the One in the heavens will have mercy on you.'

Among what he left us: that a woman entered Hell for imprisoning a cat—she neither fed it nor let it eat from the ground.

Among what he left us: that a woman of Israel who was a prostitute was admitted to Paradise because she gave water to a thirsty dog.

Among what he left us: that we should enjoin good and forbid evil, not fear people, and that: 'I and the one who speaks a word of truth before an unjust ruler are like these two in Paradise.'

Among what he left us: 'The strong believer is better than the weak believer, but there is good in both.'

Among what he left us: that he commanded prayer, zakat, Hajj, and fasting in Ramadan—all for the sake of Allah—and he said: 'Actions are only according to intentions, and every person will have only what they intended.'

He left us humanity, for he ﷺ said: {And We have certainly honored the children of Adam}, and he taught us that a human being must feel their humanity: 'Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like the aggressors.'

And he said: 'I was only sent to perfect noble character.'

And his Lord described him: {And indeed, you are of great moral character}, and he ﷺ said to Aisha: 'Gentleness is not found in anything but that it adorns it, and it is not removed from anything but that it disgraces it.'

This is the Messenger of Allah whom we love, and this is the Islam to which we submit. The more you raise doubts about the Qur’an, the Prophet of the Most Merciful, Islamic jurisprudence, or the history of Muslims, the more reality proves you wrong, and we see these doubts increasing our faith.

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, who has even used your tongues against us to increase our certainty and faith."*

جلس معي متحدثٌ يتحدث وسألني ما هذا الحب الفياض الذي تحبون به دينكم ونبيكم وقرآنكم؟ هذا حب لم نره في أتباع أديان كثيرة في الأرض ما هذا الحب الفياض الذي نرى الدموع في عيونكم عندما يذكر محمد بن عبد الله ﷺ أسحرٌ هذا؟ ماذا فعل فيكم ذلك الرجل حتى فشلت كل الخطط عبر القرون لإبادتكم أو لإخراجكم من دينكم أفواجاً كما دخلتم فيه أفواجاً؟ ما هذه الحالة الغريبة وقد عرضنا عليكم كل الشهوات والمغريات وعرضنا عليكم المال والجاه وقوة العلم والتفكير المنطقي في ظاهره فإذ بكم لا تتزحزحون عن دينكم ولو بقوة السلاح ولو بالإبادة الجماعية ولو باحتلالٍ لبلادكم ولو أريناكم شيئاً من الظلم أو شيئاً من العدل ولو اسمينا الاحتلال استعمارا؟ إني أريد أن أفهم لأن هذه ظاهرةٌ عجيبةٌ فريدةٌ لا تكرار لها عندنا لماذا أنتم تحبون الإسلام ونبي الإسلام بهذه الطريقة؟
قلت له: كلما استهزأتم بنبي الإسلام كلما ازددنا فيه حباً لأنكم تكذبون وهو ﷺ كان يُسَمى بالصادق الأمين، وتركنا على المَحَجَةِ البيضاء ليلها كنهارها لا يزيغ عنها إلا هالك.
ومما تركنا عليه : أن الصدق مَنْجاة ولو ظننت فيه هلاكك، ومما تركنا عليه أن نقول قول الحق ولو على أنفسنا.
ومما تركنا عليه :{وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ عَلَى أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا اعْدِلُوا هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى}
ومما تركنا عليه : ألا نظلم أحدًا من خلقه ولو كان من غيرنا.
ومما تركنا عليه : «الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ ارْحَمُوا مَنْ في الأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ في السَّمَاءِ»
ومما تركنا عليه : «أنه دخلت النار امرأة في هرةٍ حبستها لا هي أطعمتها ولا هي تركتها تأكل من خِشَاشِ الأرض»
ومما تركنا عليه : أن امرأة بغيا من بني إسرائيل أدخلها الله الجنة لأنها سقت كلباً كان عطشاناً.
ومما تركنا عليه : أن نأمر بالمعروف وأن ننهى عن المنكر وألا نخاف الناس، وأن : أنا وشهيدُ كلمة حقٍ عند سلطانٍ جائرٍ كهاتين في الجنة.
ومما تركنا عليه :«الْمُؤْمِنُ الْقَوِىُّ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفِ وَفِى كُلٍّ خَيْرٌ».
ومما تركنا عليه : أنه أمرنا بالصلاة والزكاة والحج وصيام رمضان ؛أمرنا بكل ذلك لوجه الله وقال: «إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى»
ترك فينا إنساناً هو ابن آدم وقال: {وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ } ، ترك فينا إنساناً يشعر بإنسانيته وقال: {وَقَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ } وقال: «إِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُ لأُتَمِّمَ مَكَارِمَ الأَخْلاَقِ». وربه وصفه فقال: {وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَى خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ} وقال ﷺ يا عَائِشَةَ: «إِنَّ الرِّفْقَ ما دخل في شَيءٍ إِلاَّ زَانَهُ وَماَ يُنْزَعُ مِنْ شَيءٍ إِلاَّ شَانَهُ».
هذا هو رسول الله الذي نحبه ،وهذا هو الإسلام الذي نَدِينُ به ،وكلما أثرتم شبهات حول القرآن، أو حول نبي الرحمن، أو حول فقه الإسلام، أو حول تاريخ المسلمين، كلما كَذَبَّكم الواقع ورأينا هذه الشبهات تزيد من إيماننا ،والحمد لله رب العالمين سَلَّطَ الله سبحانه وتعالى ألسنتكم علينا حتى نزداد إيمانا عن يقين .
