الظل

 This photo was taken from a height above the camels in the desert at sunset.

National Geographic considered this one of the most stunning photos of the year.

Enlarge the image and you will notice that the white dot is the camel,

while the black “camel” you see is only its shadow.

God Almighty says:

"Have you not seen your Lord how He stretches the shadow? If He willed, He could make it still; then We made the sun its guide. Then We grasp it gradually toward Us."

— (Qur’an 25:45-46)

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ الظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَجَعَلَهُ سَاكِنًا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا الشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًا ، ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا
