Wisdom of the Day:

The Qur’an mentions twenty types of hearts, of which eight are sound (healthy) and twelve are diseased. Examine your own heart and see where it stands:

💚 The Sound Hearts:

1. The Sincere Heart – a heart devoted to Allah, free from disbelief, hypocrisy, and vice:

   “…except for one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.” [As-Shu‘ara: 89]

2. The Repentant Heart – a heart constantly returning to Allah in repentance and turning to His obedience:

   “…and comes with a heart returning in repentance.” [Al-A‘raf: 205]

3. The Humble Heart – a heart that is submissive, serene, and tranquil:

   “…then their hearts were humbled for Him.” [Al-Hajj: 35]

4. The Fearful Heart (al-Wajl) – a heart that fears Allah, fearing that its deeds may not be accepted or that it may face punishment:

   “…whose hearts tremble at the thought that they will return to their Lord.” [Al-Hashr: 18]

5. The Pious Heart (al-Taqi) – a heart that honors the signs and rituals of Allah:

   “…whoever honors the symbols of Allah, it is from the piety of hearts.” [Al-Hajj: 32]

6. The Guided Heart (al-Mahdi) – a heart content with Allah’s decree and submitting to His command:

   “…and whoever believes in Allah, He guides his heart.” [At-Taghabun: 11]

7. The Tranquil Heart (al-Mutma’inna) – a heart at rest in the oneness and remembrance of Allah:

   “…and their hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah.” [Ar-Ra‘d: 28]

8. The Alive Heart (al-Hayy) – a heart that comprehends and understands the lessons from divine revelation and prophetic warnings:

   “Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart.” [Qaf: 37]

💔 The Diseased Hearts:

1. The Sick Heart – afflicted by doubt, hypocrisy, or sinful desires:

   “…he who has a disease in his heart…” [Al-Baqarah: 10]

2. The Blind Heart – unable to see or understand the truth:

   “…but the hearts within the breasts are blind.” [Al-Hajj: 46]

3. The Distracted Heart – heedless of the Qur’an, absorbed in worldly pleasures:

   “…their hearts are distracted.” [Al-Mu’minun: 68]

4. The Sinful Heart – a heart that conceals the truth:

   “…and whoever conceals it, then his heart is sinful.” [Al-Baqarah: 283]

5. The Arrogant Heart – prideful, resisting Allah’s unity and obedience:

   “…an arrogant, tyrannical heart.” [Al-Mujadila: 16]

6. The Hard Heart – devoid of compassion and mercy:

   “…if you were harsh and hard-hearted, people would disperse from around you.” [Al-A‘raf: 199]

7. The Sealed Heart – unable to hear or understand guidance:

   “…he sealed upon his hearing and heart.” [Al-Baqarah: 7]

8. The Callous Heart – unresponsive to faith, unaffected by admonition:

   “…and We made their hearts hard.” [Al-Hashr: 14]

9. The Neglectful Heart – distracted from Allah’s remembrance, preferring desires over obedience:

   “…do not obey the one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance.” [Al-An‘am: 110]

10. The Veiled Heart – covered so that Qur’anic signs and prophetic guidance do not penetrate:

    “…and they said, ‘Our hearts are covered.’” [Al-Baqarah: 74]

11. The Deviating Heart – inclined away from truth:

    “…as for those in whose hearts is deviation.” [Al-Baqarah: 10]

12. The Doubting Heart – uncertain, in doubt, or confused:

    “…and their hearts wavered with doubt.” [Al-Baqarah: 10]

May Allah make us among those with sound, pure hearts, free from faults, for the heart is the place of Allah’s attention and observation.

حكمة اليوم :
ورد ذكر عشرين نوعا للقلوب فى القرآن ثمانية منها سليمة و إثنا عشر قلبا مريضا فتّش عن قلبك أين هو منها:-

 القلب السّليم :
و هو قلب مخلص للّه و خالٍ من الكفر و النّفاق و الرذيلة { إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ }

القلب المُنيب :
و هو قلب دائم الرجوع و التوبة إلى اللّه مقبل على طاعته. { مَنْ خَشِيَ الرَّحْمَن بِالْغَيْبِ وَجَاء بِقَلْبٍ مُّنِيبٍ }

 القلب المُخبت :

و هو القلب الخاضع المطمئنّ السّاكن.َ{ فتُخْبِتَ لَهُ قُلُوبُهُمْ }

 القلب الوَجل :
و هو القلب الذي يخاف اللّه عزّ و جلّ ألاّ يقبل منه العمل ، و ألاّ ينجو من عذاب ربّه. { وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْتُونَ مَا آتَوا وَّقُلُوبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ رَاجِعُونَ }

 القلب التقيّ :
و هو القلب الذي يعظّم شعائر اللّه. { ذَلِكَ وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ }

 القلب المَهدي :
و هو القلب الراضي بقضاء اللّه و التسليم بأمره. { وَمَن يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ }

 القلب المطمئنّ :
و هو القلب الذي يسكن بتوحيد اللّه وذكره. { وتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللّه }

 القلب الحيّ :
و هو القلْب الذي يَعْقِل مَا قَدْ سَمِعَ مِنْ الْأَحَادِيث الَّتِي ضَرَبَ اللَّه بِهَا مَنْ عَصَاهُ مِنْ الْأُمَم. { إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَى لِمَن كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ }

 القلب المريض :
و هو القلب الذي أصابه مرض مثل الشكّ أو النّفاق و فيه فجور و مرض في الشهوة الحرام. { فَيَطْمَعَ الَّذِي فِي قَلْبِهِ مَرَضٌ }

 القلب الأعمى :
و هو القلب الذي لا يبصر و لايدرك الحقّ و الإعتبار. { وَلَكِن تَعْمَى الْقُلُوبُ الَّتِي فِي الصُّدُورِ }

 القلب اللاّهي :
و هو القلب الغافل عن القرآن الكريم ، المشغول بأباطيل الدنيا و شهواتها ، لا يعقل ما فيه.{ لاهِيَةً قُلُوبُهُمْ }

 آلقلب الآثم : وهو الذي يكتم شهادة الحقّ. { وَلاَ تَكْتُمُواْ الشَّهَادَةَ وَمَن يَكْتُمْهَا فَإِنَّهُ آثِمٌ قَلْبُهُ }

 القلب المتكبّر :
و القلب المستكبر عن توحيد اللّه و طاعته ، جبّار بكثرة ظلمه و عدوانه. { قلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ }

 القلب الغليظ :
و هو القلب الذي نُزعت منه الرأفة والرحمة . { وَلَوْ كُنتَ فَظّاً غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لاَنفَضُّواْ مِنْ حَوْلِكَ }

 القلب المختوم :لم يسمع الهدى ولم يعقله { وَخَتَمَ عَلَى سَمْعِهِ وَقَلْبِهِ }

 القلب القاسي :
و هو القلب الذي لا يلين للإيمان, ولا يؤثِّرُ فيه زجر وأعرض عن ذكر اللّه . { وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَاسِيَةً }

 القلب الغافل:
و هو القلب الذي صدّ عن ذكر اللّه ، و آثَرَ هواه على طاعة مولاه . { وَلَا تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَهُ عَن ذِكْرِنَا }

 الَقلب الأغلف :
و هو القلب المغطّى ، لا يَنْفُذ إليها آيايات القرآن ولا قول الرسول صلّى اللّه عليه وسلّم . { وَقَالُواْ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌ }

 القلب الزّائغ :
و هو القلب الذي يكون مائلاً عن الحقّ { فأَمَّا الَّذِينَ في قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ }

 القلب المريب :
و هو القلب الذي يكون محتاراً في شكّ { وَارْتَابَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ }

 جعلنا اللّه إيّاكم من أصحاب القلوب السّليمة وطهّرها من عيب فالقلب محلّ نظر الربّ سبحانه
