ذي الرَّحِم الكاشِح

 

“(The one of the glaring hostility – ذو الرَّحِم الكاشِح)”

This refers to the person who is hateful and adversarial, whose inner hostility is concealed within him. He does not incline toward you.

Giving charity on his behalf is considered best, because in doing so, one overcomes the self and humbles it, submitting it in obedience to the One who commands kindness even toward one’s enemy.

وهو المبغض المعادي الذي طوى كشحه -باطِنَه – على بغضه وعداوته ولا يَألَفُك ، فالصدقة عليه أفضل لما فيه من قهر النفس للإذعان لمعاديها
