هل انت راضٍ عن ربك ؟؟

 An important and beneficial post, but difficult for the soul to truly internalize…

The question: Are you content with your Lord?

There is a single verse that is repeated in four different chapters of the Qur’an. Every time I come across it, I pause for a moment and repeat it to myself. I wanted to share its beauty with you.

➖The verse is:

“Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him.”
(رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ)

It appears in:

• Surah Al-Ma’idah, verse 119

• Surah At-Tawbah, verse 100

• Surah Al-Mujadila, verse 22

• Surah Al-Bayyinah, verse 8

This verse has two parts:

The first part:

• Allah’s pleasure with His servant.

• This is what we all strive for, and I believe this is understood by everyone.

The second part:

• And this is the more difficult part, which I want to focus on: “and they are pleased with Him.”

• Here is the question: Are you pleased with your Lord?

A difficult question, isn’t it?

Let me rephrase it:

Do you truly understand what it means to be pleased with your Lord?

Being pleased with Allah means:

• Accepting and being content with whatever Allah has decreed for you in this life, whether good or bad.

• If a trial befalls you, your heart is filled with certainty that Allah intends good for you through it.

• You refrain from complaining to people and entrust your matters to Allah, expressing your concerns only to Him.

• You are content with Allah whether He grants or withholds, whether He enriches or takes away, whether you are in health or in illness. You are content in all circumstances.

• Being pleased with Allah also means accepting His divine laws and rulings, following them, and feeling at peace in your heart that they contain goodness—even if, outwardly, they seem contrary to your personal interests.

“But no, by your Lord, they will not truly believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.”
(Surah An-Nisa 4:65)

Look around and ask yourself:

• Are you content with your appearance? Your circumstances? Your fate?

• All of these things are chosen by Allah for you. Are you content with Allah’s choice for you?

Five key points to reflect on regarding this verse:

1. Being pleased with Allah does not contradict the pain or hardship we may sometimes feel. We are human, and this world is a place of trials; no one is exempt. Even the best of creation wept at the loss of his child.

2. There is a difference between patience (sabr) and contentment (ridha). Patience is enduring pain because it is your fate, without having any control beyond endurance. Contentment goes further—it means praising Allah even in the midst of pain.

3. Contentment with Allah is a high spiritual station, attained only by those whose hearts are filled with love for Him. Some people, in the face of hardship, quietly repeat:

“I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet.”

What a magnificent faith and certainty this reflects!

4. Know with certainty that Allah only tests you to forgive your sins or elevate your rank in Paradise. Therefore, be content with your Lord.

5. If a person is not content with their Lord, even if they possessed the entire world, they would never be satisfied. As the saying goes:

“Whoever is pleased will receive contentment, and whoever is displeased will receive displeasure.”

Such a person will always live dissatisfied and miserable.

👀 Observe your words and actions. If you are someone who never stops complaining or grumbling, know that you are among the most wretched and in danger. Reflect on yourself and draw closer to your Lord with patience, satisfaction, and contentment.

Finally, remember:

“What reaches you could not have missed you, and what misses you could not have reached you.”

السؤال : هل انت راضٍ عن ربك ؟؟

هناك آيةٌ واحدة تكررت في أربعة سور أو مواضع من القرآن ، وكنتُ كلما مررتُ عليها أتوقف عندها لبرهة وأكررُها بيني وبين نفسي ، وأحببتُ أن اشاركَكُم روعتها .

الآيةُ هي قوله تعالى :

(( رضي الله عنهم ، ورضوا عنه ))

تكررت في :

◆ سورة المائدة آيـة ١١٩

◆ سورة التوبة آيـة ١٠٠

◆ سورة المجادلة آية ٢٢

◆ سورة البـيـنـة آيـة ٨

(( رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه ))

هذه الآية تتكون من شقين :

الأول :

هو رضا الله عن العبد

وهذا هو ما نسعى له جميعا .

وأظنُ أنَّ هذا الشق مفهومٌ للجميع .

الثاني :

وهو الأصعب وهذا ما أردتُ التركيزَ عليه وهو قول الله تعالى : ( ورضوا عنه ) .

وهنا السؤال :

هل أنت راضٍ عن ربك ؟

سؤال صعب أليس كذلك ؟

دعني أعيد صياغة السؤال :

هل تعرف ما معنى أن تكونَ راضٍ عن ربك ؟

الرضا عن الله :

هو التسليم والرضا بكل ما قسمه اللهُ لك في هذه الحياة الدنيا من خير أو شر .

الرضا عن الله :

يعني إذا أصابك بلاءٌ امتلأ قلبُك يقيناً أنّ ربَّك أراد بك خيراً بهذا البلاء .

الرضا عن الله :

يعني أن تتوقفَ عن الشكوى للبشر وتفوضَ أمرَك لله وتبثَ له شكواك .

الرضا عن الله :

يعني أن ترضى عن ربك إذا أعطاك وإذا منعك ، وإذا أغناك وإذا أخذ منك ، وإذا كنتَ في صحة وإذا مرضتَ . أن ترضى عن ربك في كل أحوالك .

الرضى عن الله أن ترضى عن الاحكام الشرعية وتعمل بها وقلبك راضٍ مطمئن أن فيها الخير وان كان ظاهرها ضد مصالحك(فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّىٰ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُوا فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِّمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا )

 انظر حولك وأسأل نفسك :

هل أنت راض عن شكلك ، أقدارك ؟!!

فكل هذه الأشياء قد اختارها الله لك . فهل أنت راضٍ عن اختيار الله لك ؟؟

هناك خمسُ نقاطٍ مهمةٌ يجب أن نفهمَها خلال تدبرنا لهذه الآية :

١ ) الرضا عن الله لا يتنافى أبداً مع الألم الذي قد نشعر به أحياناً لسبب أو لآخر ، فنحن بشرٌ وهذه الدنيا دارُ ابتلاء ، ولم ولن يسلم منها أحدٌ ، فخير خلق الله بكى عند وفاة ابنه .

٢ ) هناك فرق بين الصبر والرضا ، فالرضا درجة أعلى من الصبر . أن تصبرَ يعني أن تتحملَ الألَم لأن هذا قدرُك وليس في يدك شيئا غير الصبر ، ولكن الرضا أن تحمد الله مع هذا الألم !

٣ ) الرضا عن الله منزلةٌ عاليةٌ لا يصلُ إليها إلا من امتلأ قلبُه حباً لله ، فهناك أناسٌ حولنا عندما يمرون بأي ضائقة لا تسمعهم يرددون إلا قول الرسول الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم :(رضيت بالله رباً وبالإسلام ديناً وبمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم نبياً ورسولاً ) ما أروعه من إيمان وما أروعه من يقين …

٤ ) اعِلَمْ علمَ اليقين أنّ اللهَ لا يبتليك إلا ليغفرَ ذنوبَك أو ليرفعَ درجتَك في الجنة ، فارضَ عن ربك .

٥ ) الإنسان إذا لم يرضَ عن ربه ، فحتى لو ملك الدنيا كلَها فلن يرضى أبداً ، لحديث :(من رضي فله الرضا ومن سخط فله السخط ) ، وسيبقى ساخطاً على كل شيء وسيعيشُ حياته في نكد وشقاء .

 (( راقبْ كلماتِك وتصرفاتِك ، وإذا كنتَ ممن لا يتوقفون عن الشكوى والتذمر فاعلم أنك من أشقى الناس وأنك في خطر ، فراجع نفسك ، واقترب من ربك بالصبر والقناعه والرضا)) .

*وأخيراً تذكر : (( أن ما أصابك لم يكن ليخطئك ،، وما أخطأك لم يكن ليصيبك )) *
