قُرب الواصلين لا قُرب العوام

 A Note for the Initiates

When Allah intends to draw you near to Him,

He draws the spiritually connected (al-wasilin) near, not the general masses (al-‘awam).

He may cut off your friends, family, and loved ones,

so that everyone abandons you without any apparent reason.

Then He sends His angels—the forces of restraint and expansion (al-qabd wa al-bast).

For most of your days and nights, restraint (al-qabd) predominates,

and He limits your access to worldly comforts and means,

so that your heart cries out and your breath feels constricted from the intensity of what befalls you.

The moments of expansion (al-bast) are few,

and you feel an increasing estrangement from creation.

Soon, you perceive them as your enemies:

“They are enemies to Me, except the Lord of the Worlds.”

Your detachment from people intensifies,

and you endure cups of trials of many kinds,

until you find yourself a stranger among everyone:

“Blessed are the strangers.”

Then Allah immerses you in the eye of the ocean of solitude,

so that you see nothing but Him,

and the images of all creation are erased from your heart.

All others depart from your heart,

and you reach spiritual abstraction (tajrid).

Then He casts you into uniqueness (tafrid),

and the lights of Allah descend upon you,

so that you are:

“for Him, from Him, by Him, in Him, and unto Him.”

Then the calls of the Truth reach you:

“Indeed, I am Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.”

Your closeness increases with the call:

“And I have chosen you.”

You live in constant union with Him, savoring communion day and night.

Allah opens for you the treasures of knowledge and gnosis,

and makes you an example for every saint, righteous person, and knower.

Until the time comes to leave this worldly abode,

your body’s role ends,

but your soul remains in the Barzakh realm,

grateful and mindful of Allah’s blessings,

flowing wherever the Lord of the Worlds wills.

إشارة للخاصة

إن الله تعالى إذا أراد أن يقربك إليه

قرّب الواصلين لا قرّب العوام

فإنه يقطع عنك الأصحاب والأهل والأحباب

فيتخلى عنك الجميع ويتركونك بلا سبب حقيقى

ثم يرسل إليك جنوده ( القبض والبسط )

وتكون الغلبة للقبض أكثر أيامك ولياليك

ويقطع عنك الدنيا وأسبابها فيصرخ قلبك

من شدة ما يعتريك حتى تضيق عليك أنفاسك

ويكون البسط محدود التعامل فيك

ثم تزداد في قلبك الوحشة من الخلق

فتراهم أعداءك ( فإنهم عدو لى إلا رب العالمين )

ثم تزداد حدة الانقطاع بينك وبين الخلق

وتتجرع من كؤوس الابتلاءات أنواع وأنواع

إلى أن ترى نفسك غريبا عن الجميع

(( طوبى للغرباء )) ثم يغمسك الله فى عين بحر الوحدة

فلا ترى إلا.. الله ،حتى يتم محو صور الأكوان من قلبك

وترحل جميع الأغيار عن قلبك وتصل إلى التجريد

ثم يزج بك إلى التفريد فتتنزل عليك أنوار الله

فتكن ( له ، منه ، به ، فيه ، إليه ) ثم تناديك هواتف الحق

(( إنى أنا الله رب العالمين ))

ثم يزداد قربك إليه بهاتف (( وأنا اخترتك ))

فتحيا بوصاله على الدوام ، متلذذا بمناجاته في الليال والأيام

فيفتح الله ماشاء لك من خزائن العلوم والمعارف

ويجعلك قدوة لكل ولى وصالح وعارف

إلى أن تخرج من دار الدنيا وينتهى دور جسدك

وتبقى روحك في عالم البرزخ ذاكرة شاكرة لأنعم الله

إلى حيث يشاء الله رب العالمين
