الصحبة

 Abu ‘Uthman al-Jabri, may God have mercy on him, said:

• Companionship with God is through good manners, constant reverence, and vigilant awareness of Him.

• Companionship with the Messenger (peace be upon him and his family) is by following his Sunnah and adhering to outward knowledge.

• Companionship with the friends of God (awliya’ Allah) is through respect and service.

• Companionship with one’s family is by good character and conduct.

• Companionship with brothers/friends is by maintaining friendly relations, as long as it involves no sin.

• Companionship with the ignorant is through prayer for them and showing them mercy.

قال أبو عثمان الجبري رحمه الله

الصحبة مع الله: بحسن الأدب؛ ودوام الهيبة، والمراقبة

والصحبة مع الرسول صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم : باتِّباع سنَّته، ولزوم ظاهر العلم

والصحبة مع أولياء الله تعالى : بالاحترام والخدمة

والصحبة مع الأهل: بحسن الخلق

والصحبة مع الأخوان: بدوام البشر ما لم يكن إثما

والصحبة مع الجهَّال: بالدعاء لهم والرحمة عليهم.
