The Meaning of the Word “Arab”:

The word (ʿArabī – عربي) means perfection, completeness, and being free from defect or flaw, and it is not related to the Arab ethnicity or nationality.

• For example, the phrase “Qur’an ʿArabī” means a Qur’an that is complete, perfect, and free from any deficiency or flaw.

• Similarly, the term {ʿuruban – عُرُبًا}—with the vowels as in the Qur’anic description of the Hoor al-Ayn (heavenly maidens) in:
  “So We made them virgins, ʿuruban, matched for the companions of the right” (Qur’an 56:35–36)—
  here ʿuruban describes perfection and being free from defect or deficiency.

As for the term “Al-A‘rāb (الأعراب)”, which appears in the Qur’an in a critical context:

• It does not refer to Bedouin people geographically, because the Qur’an is too elevated to criticize people based on ethnicity or race.

  • If it did refer to Bedouins, the Qur’an would have described them simply as desert dwellers, as in the story of Prophet Yusuf:
    “And he brought you from the desert after Satan had instigated enmity between me and my brothers…” (Qur’an 12:100)

• So, who are Al-A‘rāb?

  • The extra ‘alif’ in Al-A‘rāb changes the meaning to the opposite, similar to the pattern in Arabic words like:

    • Qast (قسط) = injustice

    • Aqsaṭ (أقسط) = justice

  • Similarly:

    • ʿArab (عرب) = complete, free from defect

    • A‘rab (أعراب) = deficient, containing flaws

• Hence, Al-A‘rāb refers to a group characterized by deficiency in faith and belief, as mentioned in the Qur’an:
  “The desert Arabs say, ‘We believe.’ Say, ‘You have not [yet] believed; but say, ‘We have submitted,’ for faith has not yet entered your hearts…” (Qur’an 49:14)

Conclusion:

• The Arabic language, being the language of the Qur’an, is not merely a human language.

• It is the language of heaven, through which Allah taught Adam all the names before he descended to earth.

• This language was then used as a means of human communication, reflecting divine linguistic design.

معنى كلمة ” عرب ” :

كلمة (عربي) تعني التمام و الكمال و الخلو من النقص و العيب ، وليس لها علاقة بالعرب كقومية.
فعبارة (قرآنا عربيا) تعني قرآنا تاما خاليا من النقص و العيب.
و تفسير كلمة { عُرُبًا } – بضم العين و الراء وفتح الباء – والتي وردت كصفة للحور العين في قوله تعالى : { فَجَعَلْنَاهُنَّ أَبْكَارًا عُرُبًا أَتْرَابًا لِّأَصْحَابِ الْيَمِينِ } فوصفت الحور بالتمام و الخلو من العيب و النقص.

أما (الأعراب) الذين ورد ذكرهم في القرآن على سبيل الذم ليسوا هم سكان البادية ، لأن القرآن أرفع و أسمى من أن يذم الناس من منطلق عرقي أو عنصري ولو كان المقصود بالأعراب سكان البادية لوصفهم الله تعالى بالبدو كما جاء على لسان يوسف : { وَجَاءَ بِكُم مِّنَ الْبَدْوِ مِن بَعْدِ أَن نَّزَغَ الشَّيْطَانُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ إِخْوَتِي ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَطِيفٌ لِّمَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ }
إذن من هم الأعراب؟
إن ألف التعدي الزائدة في كلمة الأعراب قد نقلت المعنى الى النقيض كما في (قسط و أقسط)
قسط : ظلم
اقسط : عدل
عرب : تم وخلا من العيب
أعرب : نقص و شمله العيب

فالأعراب مجموعة تتصف بصفة النقص في الدين و العقيدة
وذلك قوله تعالى : { قَالَتِ الْأَعْرَابُ آمَنَّا ۖ قُل لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَلَٰكِن قُولُوا أَسْلَمْنَا وَلَمَّا يَدْخُلِ الْإِيمَانُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ ۖ وَإِن تُطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَا يَلِتْكُم مِّنْ أَعْمَالِكُمْ شَيْئًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ }

فاللغة العربية التي هي لغة القرآن ليست لغة بشرية أصلا بل هي لغة السماء التي علم الله بها آدم الأسماء كلها ثم هبط بها الأرض وكانت هي لغة التواصل بين البشر وهذه هي هندسة اللغة الربانية.
