الطاعة والمعصية

 On Divine Wisdom in Obedience and Disobedience

One of God’s purposes in obedience and sin is this: obedience adorns the outward self, while sin adorns the inner self.

• Obedience is visible to the eyes of creation.

• Sin is seen only by the eyes of God.

When a servant commits a sin, their inner self becomes occupied with remorse, shame, and humility, performing a multitude of hidden acts of devotion—sometimes thirty-six actions in secret. In this way, the inner self is beautified before the Lord of the heavens and the earth.

God, in His mercy, can transform the sin into good deeds and increase the servant’s hidden acts of devotion with blessings upon blessings.

If people were able to see this, the hidden lights of the heart would overshadow the outward acts of obedience.

• Remembering sins can make one forget one’s good deeds.

• Remembering God can make one forget both sins and even good deeds.

• And remembering God is greater than all.

When a servant sins out of weakness but then remembers, repents, and turns back to God, their heart is filled with remorse, reverence for God, humility, and shame before the Almighty. Their inner states accompanying repentance may be more spiritually beneficial than another servant who performs an act of obedience and takes pride in it.

• One should not rejoice in their obedience or become attached to it, for even the best deeds are nothing compared to the rights of God. The angels themselves might say: “Glory be to You, we have not worshiped You as You deserve.”

• Sometimes, a sin can lead to humility and submission, which may be better than an obedience that causes pride and arrogance.

• A repentant sinner enters through the gate of humility, which is one of the closest gates to the Almighty, Most Merciful.

Excessive self-recrimination is also discouraged. Once the servant has repented and feels remorse, they should trust in God’s mercy, which accepts the repentance and increases the reward. Good deeds will erase sins.

• The best course is for the servant to act without counting deeds or sins, focusing their limited lifetime entirely on remembering God.

• God says: “Remember Me, and I will remember you” and “The remembrance of God is the greatest”.

• When the servant remembers God, God is with them. Whoever is with God has nothing to fear. Frequent remembrance illuminates the heart and fills it with the light of the Exalted.

من المقاصد الالهية فى الطاعة والمعصية
أن الاولى تزيين للظاهر والثانية تزيين للباطن
فالطاعة الظاهرة لعين الخلق والمعصية لعين الرب

وذلك أن المعصية إذا وقعت من العبد
اشتغل باطنه بالندم والحياء
وبـ 36 عمل فى الخفاء
فتزين باطنه لرب الارض والسماء

فبدل الله سيآتهم حسنات
وزادهم من أعمال الباطن بركات فوقها بركات

لو رآها الناس
لغطّتْ انوارها ما ظهر على جوارحه من الطاعات

تذكّر السيّآت يُنْسِي الحسنات
وذكر الله ينسي الحسنات والسيّآت
ولذكر الله أكبر

العبد لما يعصي بضعفه ويتذكر ويتوب بيجي فقلبه الندم وتعظيم الله تعالي وانكسار العبد وذلته فطلب العفو وشعوره بالحياء من الله تعالي ومشاعر باطنيه تصاحب توبه العبد بتقربه من ربنا قد يكون اكتر من عبد تاني اطاع وفرح بطاعته ولا ينبغي للعبد يفرح بطاعته ويلتفت ليها لان الطاعه بتاعتنا مهما كانت كويسه الا انها لا شئ فحق الله تعالي الملايكه هتقول سبحانك ماعبدناك حق عبادتك فيبقي يمكن معصيه تورث ذلا وانكسارا خير من طاعه اورثت عزا واستكبارا العاصي التائب هيدخل من باب الذل وده من اقرب الأبواب للعزيز الرحمن وبعدين غرق الإنسان فالندم وتقريع نفسه ده برضه غلط مدام تاب وندم يوقن برحمه ربنا انه قبله ويكتر حسنات ويقينا الحسنات تذهب السيئات والأفضل من كده العبد يعمل ولا يلتفت وميقعدش يحسبها حسنات وسيئات ويفكر كتير يشغل عمره القصيرقدر طاقته بذكر الله وربنا قال فاذكروني أذكركم وقال ولذكر الله اكبر فإذا ذكر العبد هو فالمعيه ربنا قال انا معه إذا ذكرني واللي مع ربنا ميخافش الذكر وكثرته هينور قلبه وتشرق فيه انوار ذكر الجليل
